Annual Big Ten Event Offers "A Signature Experience"

Representatives of Big Ten schools and NIRSA leadership gathered at The Ohio State University in Columbus for the 2005 Big Ten Recreational Sports Conference, enjoying four days of "A Signature Experience," May 10-13.
A total of 181 attendees signed on for a full program of roundtable discussions, educational sessions, and facilities tours. The schedule included a NIRSA Update moderated by NIRSA President Greg Jordan and Past President Tamra Garstka, Region III Vice President Stan Shingles and Foundation Board of Directors Member Beau Rugg.
The evening events included a trip to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, enabling attendees to visit with "Jungle" Jack Hanna, director emeritus there and the host of television's "Jack Hanna's Animal Adventures."
