The University Network Joins Forces with InFocus Corporation
The NIRSA/The University Network program has expanded into a very popular choice with NIRSA Institutional Members nationwide. Participating NIRSA Member Institutions receive a flat screen electronic display, at no charge, to be installed in their campus recreation center near the controlled entry area. A Web-based feed provides national corporate advertising, yet schools have 100% editorial control over what appears on their screen. Member Institutions can use the screen to communicate messages for recreational sports or the university administrators through sight, sound, and motion. Our strategic partnership with The University Network (TUN) has provided many of our members an exciting and effective tool for on-campus multimedia communications.
Now we are pleased to announce an even stronger reason for including TUN in your intramural and recreational sports center — the acquisition of TUN by InFocus Corporation, the worldwide leader in digital projector solutions for businesses, schools, and homes.
InFocus has worked with universities and colleges in the U.S. for more than twenty years to provide digital projection solutions under its product brands, InFocus and ASK Proxima. InFocus brings to TUN technology expertise and offerings in a large format digital display including 40" and 61" high definition digital displays, and extensive resources in networking and digital communications.
TUN now offers a state-of-the-art display solution for NIRSA members, additional resources for working with you on messages and programming content, and new revenue sharing sponsorship opportunities for the fall term.
We are even more committed to our TUN strategic partnership with the addition of InFocus technology expertise and resources, and look forward to an expanded network with our members. For more information about joining the program, please email Barry Brown.
