A New York state of mind: the 2005 AORE Conference

The Association of Outdoor Recreation & Education has completed programming for the 19th Annual AORE Conference (formerly known as ICORE), to be hosted by the University at Buffalo, October 27-29, in Buffalo, New York. Because NIRSA's alliance with AORE entitles Members to the AORE Student or Professional discount, all offerings on the 2005 program are available at AORE's membership rates. The conference, entitled "Seasons of Change," offers dozens of workshops, presentations and seminars for the outdoor professional. Pre- and post-conference workshops include: a "Leave No Trace" trainer course, a trip to Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve, instruction on route setting and climbing wall management, advanced team building, and much more. Early bird registration ends October 3rd; complete programming is available on the AORE Web.
