Highlights from 2005 Midyear Board of Directors Meeting

Louisville, Kentucky

The NIRSA Board of Directors met in Louisville, Kentucky, Sept. 21-23, 2005, to discuss a wide variety of topics, including:

• NIRSA response to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita
• Alcohol education programs and services
• Approval of the balanced 2006 operating budget
• Plans for the 2006 Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Exposition in Louisville, Kentucky
• Results of a Zoomerang Member survey on the Professional Registry Proposal
• Outstanding Sports Facilities award winners to be published in Visual Reference Publications' new book, Sports & Recreational Facilities in 2006
