2006-2009 Recreational Sports Journal Editorial Board positions available
During the NIRSA Foundation Midyear Board Meeting in Louisville in September 2005, the addition of two more Members to the RSJ Editorial Board was approved.
"The addition of two editors will assist in expediting the entire review process. Authors should realize much greater turnaround time on their manuscripts, accepted articles should appear in the RSJ in a more timely fashion, and the workload among editors will be more evenly distributed," states Paul R. Milton, Ph.D., Editor of the RSJ.
NIRSA Members interested in serving on the RSJ Editorial Board, and any current Editorial Board members whose terms expire in 2006, but who are willing to continue service, should submit the RSJ Editorial Board Electronic Application Form found on the NIRSA Web site.

- Editorial Board member must be knowledgeable, current, and skilled in various subject matters related to recreational sports, fitness, wellness, etc.
- Have at least two years continuous NIRSA Membership in the Professional, Life, or Associate Member category.
- Agree to maintain NIRSA Membership through RSJ Editorial Board term.
- Attend annual RSJ Editorial Board meeting held during the NIRSA Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Exposition.
