Extramural and Sport Club Championship Committees change reporting structure

At the recent mid-year meetings in Louisville, the NIRSA Board of Directors voted to move oversight of the Extramural Committee and the Sport Club Championships Committee to fall under the broad umbrella of the NIRSA Services Corporation (NSC). This positive step will result in much clearer reporting lines and communication. The NSC operates as the for-profit arm of NIRSA, to oversee and administer income-producing programs and sport participation activities, acts as a risk management tool to protect and insulate the assets of the Association, and develop corporate relationships through the programs of our National Campus Championship Series. The NSC looks forward to working with the Committees on the continued success of all programs.
