NIRSA Member Kenneth Knight remembered
"Fuzz" Knight was active in the Association for more than 20 years
NIRSA Emeritus Member Kenneth “Fuzz” Knight passed away on November 24, 2005. Knight became a Member of NIRSA in 1970 and was active in the Association on a state and national level until his retirement from Wright State University, where he served as the Intramural and Recreational Sports Director from 1969 to 1993. Knight received two recreation related degrees from Miami University.
Knight is survived by his wife, Micki; his parents, Floyd and Frances; a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Dawn Knight; a step daughter, Jessica Stamps; a step son and his wife, Brian and Analeah Stamps; a brother and his wife, Russ and Nancy Knight; four grandchildren, Sydney Knight, Keirnan, Cassidy and Quincee Stamps, and numerous loving friends. A memorial service was held December 3 in Dayton, Ohio. The following Saturday, December 10, a memorial service was held in his hometown of New Athens, Ohio.
