Foundation
Going once, twice, sold! Or was it?
Seems like everyone wanted a piece of the T-shirt quilt auctioned at the 2006 Annual Conference.

This quilt raised $2,010 for the NIRSA Foundation.

The NIRSA Foundation would like to express great thanks to the following coalition of NIRSA members who purchased the 2006 NIRSA Foundation Quilt for $1,010 at Theme Night in Louisville:
- Tony Clements, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
- Rhonda Cox, University of Texas at Austin
- Cat Cramp, Pepperdine University
- Kurt Klier, University of Maryland
- Richard Romero, University of Arizona
- Pam Su, Sonoma State University
- Jeff Vessely, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis
But the story didn’t end there. At the request of Dr. Ned Britt, Towson University later contributed an additional $1,000, bringing the proceeds of the auction to $2,010!
The quilt, made by Roy Easley, [see related story] Cal Poly Pomona, from the winning t-shirts of the 2005 NIRSA Foundation T-shirt Competition, is now hanging in the fitness center at Towson, but may travel to other institutions whose members generously contributed.
