Members receive two important documents in the mail

NACUBO magazine article and CHEMA report help make the case for rec sports

In early September, all Student, Professional, and Associate Members of NIRSA were mailed two important documents: an article entitled “Sweat Equity” in Business Officer (July/August 2006, pp. 28-33), the magazine of the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO); and an August 2006 report from the Council of Higher Education Management Associations (CHEMA) titled “The Future of Higher Education: A View from CHEMA.” NIRSA is a member of CHEMA and participated in the report. NIRSA members are encouraged to share these documents with other leaders at their institution as part of their ongoing advocacy for recreational sports on campus.
