Session Description: Campus recreation programs are not immune to health and safety concerns that pervade the campus community. With a focus on alcohol abuse prevention, this session will give attention to understanding campus trends, successful prevention strategies, and the steps for productive campus partnerships to address alcohol abuse concerns.

Literally everything done in our Campus Recreation programs, facilities, and services enhances student learning through learning lifelong skills, wellness, fitness, and functioning in a workplace. A panel of NIRSA leaders will highlight the programs that will be included as NIRSA's examples of learning on NASPA's www.learningreconsidered.org that will be live this spring.

Session Description: Hear final recommendations for revisions to our collegiate standards for recreational sports and next steps with the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education.
