Conference & Expo
Calling all members from small colleges and community colleges!
Lots of opportunities to network with others in Austin, including a special two-hour workshop at no additional cost
By the 2008 Program Committee
An exciting new learning opportunity is planned for the 2008 Annual Conference: workshops. There is no additional registration or fee for these workshops; participation is open to all Annual Conference participants on a first-come, first-served basis. The two-hour sessions will include presentations, networking opportunities, and roundtable discussions.
One of the four topics being offered is Small Colleges and Community Colleges. Mike Williams, Director of Sports, Recreation and Wellness at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, is coordinating efforts.
The workshop focus will be on discussing best practices, sharing creative programming ideas, and developing and strengthening a solid network of members who work in similar settings.
If you are a professional or student at a small college or community college, you want to be in Austin for the 2008 NIRSA Annual Conference, which will feature three targeted sessions, the workshop, and a long list of other educational sessions beneficial to members in these settings. Please help spread the word!
