Hurricane relief assistance update
Qualifying NIRSA Members can apply for membership dues and Annual Conference registration waivers through June 30, 2008
The Hurricanes Katrina & Rita relief assistance program for NIRSA Members in five hurricane-affected states will be continued on a modified basis through June 30, 2008. New guidelines specify that waivers are for professional membership, student membership, and 2008 Annual Conference registration only. Requests for waivers must include a letter, signed by the Director of Campus Recreation, outlining the financial need as it relates directly to the impact of Hurricane Katrina and/or Rita. The letter should be mailed to the Membership Department at the NIRSA National Center. More information can be found on the NIRSA website.
