Sports officials guru to speak at National Intramural Symposium
Plus, presentation proposals for this educational opportunity are due December 14

Barry Mano, founder and president of the National Association of Sports Officials and publisher/executive editor of Referee Magazine, will be the keynote speaker at the inaugural National Intramural Symposium in Raleigh, North Carolina June 11-13, 2008.
Mano earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and a Master of Arts in Urban Affairs from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
"The 2008 planning committee is extremely excited to have Barry Mano keynote the first Intramural Symposium next June," said National Intramural Symposium Chair Andy Milton, St. Ambrose University. "Barry's experiences both on and off the court, including high levels of involvement with NIRSA, are second to none, and should provide valuable insight to all attendees."
Presentation proposals are being accepted for the National Intramural Symposium, which is designed to provide a wide range of development opportunities for new and experienced intramural programmers. The deadline to submit a proposal is December 14.
