Emerging Recreational Sports Leaders Conference returns to New Orleans
Plan to attend this popular educational opportunity February 8-9. Presenters also needed!
Over the past 17 years the Emerging Recreational Sports Leaders (ERSL) Conference has been influencing many different professionals from all backgrounds and cultures across the country. February 8-9, 2008, the 17th Annual ERSL Conference will be hosted by Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans. The theme is Embracing the Past, Establishing Character Today, Setting a Mark for the Future.
The ERSL Conference was born out of a vision by Mike Dunn, Herman Williams, and Tony Daniels. The conference was created to re-engage minority professionals and students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities to NIRSA, as they take on the task of guiding others to live, work and play in a multicultural society. This conference has evolved into one of the highlights of the year on the NIRSA calendar. It is an opportunity for young professionals and students to network with established professionals from across this great country. The ERSL Conference has helped establish long-lasting friendships, careers, partnerships, student development, professional development, and mentorships.
This is a personal invitation to the entire NIRSA family to attend and present at the 2008 Emerging Recreational Sports Leaders Conference in New Orleans, where we hope to live up to the theme's goals through aspiring, transpiring, and inspiring presentations and networking.
Hope to see you in New Orleans!
